Summary of the Executive Body meeting of New Life
Education Trust, Held on 19.09.2004 at Matrubhaban, Cuttack.
The meting started with a prayer to The Mother. The proceedings
of the last executive body meeting held at Matrubhaban, Cuttack on
30.05.04 was then read out by the Secretary and approved with the
following observations.
It was decided that :
1. The New Sales Depot at Sohela, Raghunathpur (Soro) were
requested to deposit the final sale proceeds and the statements of
the stock of books with them. It was also decided to reprint the
books by March, 2004 for the next session. The SAIEC,
Chadeigudi was requested to contact NLET Office to collect the
SFA. The Kamakshyanagar case is now under litigation and
Bolangir case is still unsolved. Hence their cases were kept
pending.
2. Sri Purnachandra Mohanta, Sri Narayan Agasti and Sri
Surendranath Dash were supplied with the 3 receipt books to
collect the Annual contribution from different integral schools.
3. The holiday list for each school will be finalised by the concerned
M.C. depending on local situation. They were requested to
minimize the holidays as far as possible.
4. Dr. Narendra ( Sanskrit Karyalaya), Pondicherry, has proposed to
visit Orissa during Nov- 25 to Dec- 12 and has agreed to conduct
workshops for one day each at different places in seven zones.
Accordingly it was decided to hold workshops on Sanskrit as per
the following programme. On 26.11.2004 at Soro, Raghunathpur,
on 27.11.2004 at Khandagiri of Khordha, on 29.11.2004 at
Khallikote of Ganjam, on 1.12.2004 at Koraput, on
03.12.2004 at Matrukshetra, Sambalpur, on 05.12.2004 at Anugul

and on 7.12.2004 at Matrubhaban, Cuttack.
The schools were requested to send the name of one / two Sanskrit
teachers to the Principal of the school where the workshop will
be held. An amount of Rs. 20/- per teacher shall be collected as
the delegate fees.
5. Internal Audit report prepared by the sub-committee was read out
and discussed in details. It was decided that the objections raised
by the auditors and the proposals submitted by them shall be
taken care of. Sri Aparati Ch. Dash, the ex- treasurer was present
in the meeting and was requested to look to the accounting
procedure of the Trust. The NLET expressed its gratitude and
thanks to the members of the committee for preparing the audit
report.
6. It was decided to reimburse the T.A. expenses of the Trust oficials
to attend the zonal refresher training camps held at different places
of the state.
7. It was decided to hold the All Orissa Workers’ Meet, at
Matrubhaban, Cuttack along with general body meeting of NLET
on 17, 18, 19 & 20 Oct, 2004 instead of 19, 20, 21, & 22 as
circulated already in last proceeding (30.05.04). The meet will be
inaugurated on 17th Oct. at 9.00 a.m. and will be closed before
evening of 20th Oct. 2004. The General Body Meting of NLET
will be held on 20th at 9 am. Maximum 3 teachers / organisers
from each Integral School may attend the conference. An amount
of Rs.100/- shall be collected as delegation fees.
8. All schools are requested to submit the requirement of text books
by the end of Nov, 2004. Some members proposed to reduce the
price of the text books as it has been very difficult for some rural
integral schools to purchase them. It was however decided that
the members of the Trust may submit a list of the schools those
can not afford to purchase along with the requirement. The NLET
may consider to allow extra discount over the prices of the books
to such schools those can not afford to purchase those. In any
case these facilities can be extended to only a few numbers of
schools those were really needy.
9. It was decided to print the books on (a) Rules and Regulations of
NLET (b) Text Book of Physical Education at the earliest.
10. A workshop on computer (only for Integral school) will be
organised at Matrubhaban, Cuttack from 21st to 27th Oct, 2004.
One or two Computer Teachers from each school, where computer
education already been started or has been proposed to be started
shortly, may attend this workshop. Each participating teacher will
have to pay only Rs.200/- towards camp charges.
11. A proposal from SAIEC, Binida for approval of Std. VI and VII
has been received. Sri Maheswar Mahakud, Kendujhar was
requested Binida and place the report in the next E.B. meeting.
12. After detail discussion the following schools are affiliated to the
Trust.(a) Duburi of Jajpur Dist, regular class up to Std. V, (b)
R.Damodarpalli of Ganjam, regular class up to Std. V,(c)
Kanthibhaunri of Baleswar, regular class up to Std. VI and VII,
(d) Padarapada of Boudh dist, 2 years provisional for class V (e)
Agajhola of Ganjam district , 2 years provisional for class V.
13. The following schools will be visited : (a) Lingpur of Khordha by
K.M. Bijayalaxmi Pattnaik (b)Khairanga of Jagatsinghpur by
Nirupama Chaini (c) Sankardiha of Jajpur by Sri Kirtan Behari
Rout (d) Sidheswarpur of Cuttack by Ramesha Chandra Dalai (e)
Ramchandrapur of Ganjam by Sri Arabinda Das (f)Debendrapur
of Baripada by Sri Ganesha Prasad Mohapatra (g) Gobara of
Ganjam by Sri Pradeep Panigrahi (h) Jatani of Puri by K.M.
Bijayalaxmi Pattnaik (i) Nandara of Kendujhar by Sri Maheswar
Mahakud (j) Beltal of Kendrapada by Sri Sarbeswar Mohapatra
(k) Kainipura of Sambalpur by Sri Prafulla Panda (l) Komna of
Nuapada by Sri Ganesha Prasad.
14. The application of newly opened SAIEC at Parjang and Pallaspalli
(Dist – Khordha) were kept pending till 20th July, 2005 and 20th
April, 2005.
15. The next meeting of the General Body will be held on 20th October
2004, Wednesday at 9 AM at Matrubhaban, Cuttack.
The meeting ended with prayer to The Divine Mother.
