BRIEF HISTORY:
The Regional Sri Aurobindo Study Circle of Raghunathpur started in the year 1970. The members of the study circle had the aspiration to start an Ashram. So, the Ashram was established with 35 acres of land in a very natural setup. The name was given by Sri Babaji Maharaj as "Matrusadhana Kendra". By the very inspiration of Babaji Maharaj, the members started working for Sri Aurobindo's Relics. At last on 13th April, 1997, 4 PM, their aspiration was fulfilled.
