11:55:50 (IST) -This morning's seminar focuses on various philosophies and reports of extraordinary transformative experiences which presaged the evolutionary vision of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. The speakers cite historical and contemporary examples and reports which seem to culminate in the manifestation of the Supramental Consciousness. An outstanding list of speakers from the Ashram and Auroville, along with Michael Murphy present the various facets. Esalen Institute is exploring Sri Aurobindo's "Record of Yoga" and maintaining an archive of extraordinary experiences which transcend conventional knowledge. The scope of the talks range from the Upanishads and Vedas to the new physics.The day ends with an afternoon talk on architecture and an evening appreciation of Roger Anger, the recently deceased Chief Architect of Auroville.

This week's Tamil program features an interview with Tamil Aurovilian Rajan, who was brought to Auroville by his German stepmother. Rajan stopped his schooling to go to work in order to help his grandmother, his only family member. He speaks simply, with an innocence, yet a depth of the meaning of life in relation to his world can be heard. Rajan works in the Graphic Section at Town Hall.

Since few days we are facing problems with Internet bandwidth like slow Internet surfing and ping response loss, that is because of two undersea telecommunication cables were cut on Tuesday 28th, knocking out Internet access to much of Egypt & India and slowing down service by almost 50% to all customers. Submarine cable system consortium is assessing the nature of failure and working out on restoration.Since our most of the servers are located in Europe and USA, you may face speed issues till the problem is sorted out.

As of January 30th the AurovilleRadio website has received more than 1,000 visits in a single day. In the last two years the visits to our website have multiplied by 20. Realization is a tentative answer to the current housing crisis in Auroville. The movement was initiated in October 2007 by a large group of Auroville residents to find solutions to this overlooked issue. From November onwards, about 30 people have been working on the fabrication of Compressed Stabilised Earth Blocks (CSEB) and on the preparation of the construction site. Volunteers have also taken care of the project's definition and organisation. The work is carried out under the supervision of the Auroville Earth Institute.Here an interview with Marti and Dorian.

Gino voleva fare musica ad Auroville invece si ritrova a lavorare in una azienda agricola biologica nella Green Belt. Dopo un anno speso mangiando prodotti della farm il suo peso si riduce di 20 chili e si sente piu' sereno e felice. All'inizio della sua esperienza di lavoro alla Discipline Farm non riusciva a convincersi che la dietro la bella esperienza che stava vivendo non c'erano secondi fini.Ora e' completamente dedicato alla agricoltura biologica e continua a coltivare la passione delle percussioni.Per ascoltare l'intervista clicca qui o sulla foto.
