Integral Yoga Community - Overview
Introduction to World Community of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother

Welcome to the World Community Section of the Miraura Web Site. Here you will be able to locate listings of a variety of organizations dedicated to the work of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.
The Integral Yoga community, outside of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville, consists of a loose collection of Centers, Organizations, Study Groups, and individuals. There is no central organization, rather a Divine Anarchy which, yet, is increasingly drawn into more-or-less close relationship with itself as time goes on.
For the purposes of this section we have classified Integral Yoga World Community under four headings:
Centers
These are usually non-profit trusts, have a central location, and offer regular programs, facilities and activities. These centers are sometimes very active in their community and are generally open to all spiritual aspirants.
Organizations
These are groups of people organized around a common purpose. These might include fund-raising and distribution, book distribution and networking. (Please note that there is no central authority or organization in the Integral Yoga.)
Study Groups
These hold regular meetings to study the written works of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Some groups are associated with centers, though many are not. Individuals may hold informal study groups in their homes or at some other venue.
Online Groups
These are active online discussion groups thruough e-mail list servers. Some newsletters also are posted online. This Web site, Miraura, is one aspect of our online community.
You can access the information about the communities by geographical area.
