If BS had a face Nowhere have i claimed that Khudiram was inspired by Savarkar, nor are the film's an adaptation of my works. Don't spread malicious canards for your petty, third rate politics!
That's a question you need to ask him & his film writer ! I am not responsible for everything that anyone says, writes or utters about Savarkar, especially when I have explicitly clarified that none of these films are inspired/adaptations from my books nor did anyone consult me.
Why did Sri Aurobindo refer to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as a 'Vibhuti... youtube.com/shorts/VloWHGr via

Sanskrit is a language of higher consciousness and it provides the key to awaken the higher states of consciousness within the one who uses it consciously. Proper recitation of the sounds of Sanskrit makes one's breathing deep and full, and leads to a natural state of meditation.

The unfortunate truth is that typical contemporary Hindu, of any social class, whether living in India or diaspora, overwhelmingly favors materialism and individualism.
My dear they are the originators of Dravidian ideology.
Is Modi ji is too smart to reverse engineering it for a greater cause? Time will tell.

Shulman’s analysis in this regard is bereft of poltiical elements and that’s why it is uttterly shallow on this matter.
In Pagan systems, festivals embody its vitality. Death of Roman Paganism was begun by banning its public festivals.
Interesting article by Cambridge economist . He argues the West needs to stop its "stubborn refusal to accept a diminished role in its world", drawing parallel with the Roman empire which might have survived had it not tried to remain hegemonic.
1. One of the biggest threat to Hindu practices in contemporary times is the so called 'Scientific Temper' which by its very definition and its ideological underpinnings is deeply problematic.

1.Interesting Argument. I consider a scientific approach to Hinduism is essential to appreciate the depth of discussion that is possible. Science allows classification as unproven those phenomena that cannot be verified with current methods awaiting a better method for proof.
Physicalism is a positive claim. It is the claim that physicality is fundamental and equates to the actuality. It is the claim that we are our brains, and is a claim that cannot be proven ie. it is a faith position and religion. #Philosophy

I think the Indian experience should prove conclusively that free market capitalism does not result in liberal values. One would be hard pressed to make the case that Indian society has become more liberal, tolerant, pluralistic, and inclusive since economic liberalization
As a Pracharak over two decades before joining politics he would’ve lead few Path Sanchalans with an uptight body language and with the Danda but then what would haters know.
Hindutva followers were happy with Tulsi and Mira. Now they have been asked to do a lot of homework on various factions of Tamil Shaiva traditions. Reading books is a difficult proposition in the RSS culture. Many are cursing Modi for imposing this sort of Baudhik load on the sly.
I write against tradition and rituals but the fact that so many people derive self-esteem out of that deserves respect. Glorifying the past too is a corollary of the same motive. Hindutva ecosystem performing this agenda is understandable but elevating Savarkar is an uphill task.
There can't be any scientific validation of whether the religious rituals bear fruit. So, they remain in the realm of faith. But by reading the books of Sri Aurobindo, one can be privy to an alternative viewpoint. Once the mind gets stimulated, re-evaluation of everything starts.
By dropping excessive reverence for Vivekananda, Tagore, Subhas, Gandhi, Ambedkar, and Savarkar and discovering the real worth of Sri Aurobindo that Indians can have an intellectual new birth. Clinging to the ancient systems of wisdom also will undergo a radical transformation.
