29) Memories of the Past: One common misconception about the Mother and #SriAurobindo is that they were such or such person in their past life, for the WHOLE of that life; which is not true.

Could you provide a source sir? I believe these are Mother's words as reported by the disciples (like Champaklal, Udar).. It is more likely that Mother's words meant something else than what was construed by them..

Of course Sri Aurobindo never made a difference between Himself and Krishna in the Sadhana, and after 1926 there was another type of relation which one can go on at length about :)

Easier to start with correspondence and talks.
They have shorter sentences, are more personal and humorous.

Hinduism post Bengal Renaissance is an adulterated religion and puritans have every right to restore the original ethos. Hindutva unfortunately aims at political supremacy by neglecting this. But the Evolutionary arrow as perceived by Sri Aurobindo moves in the opposite direction

Many don't know that Sri Aurobindo was a Christian and The Mother, a Jew. So, there is nothing unusual about their Western connection. Besides, their collaboration in bringing out ARYA in August 1914 was meant for integration of East and West by elbowing out Theosophical Society.
