Professor Varma's CLASSIC on Sri Aurobindo. As a student Professor Varma was deeply inspired by the Great Revolutionary Sage of the twentieth century India. In April 1945, Professor Varma resigned from the permanent post of Lecturer in History at H.D.Jain College, Arrah, as he was denied leave, which he was seeking to go to Pondicherry to meet Sri Aurobindo, by the College authorities. Professor Varma left for Pondicherry the next morning and met his idol.
